LOUD FESTIVAL 2012 is the first edition of a new festival concept, a multifunctional rock and metal event, taking place in two days on June 2nd and June 3rd in the beautiful field of the Sofia Airport Park, next to the Sofia Airport Terminal 2. The main goal of LOUD FESTIVAL is to bring this amazing festival atmosphere to the major city, to the heart of Sofia.
Between 10 and 12 established rock and metal bands from all over the world will be playing on the festival’s main stage. During LOUD FESTIVAL 2012 fans of all kinds of metal music will be able to see their favourite bands.
Besides the great concert schedule, LOUD FESTIVAL will offer various additional activities as well as many surprises for the fans. The goal is to create an exciting rock experience for the visitors, to make this festival an event that people will be looking forward to year after year.

Children under 7 years will be allowed to the festival for free, only if accompanied by an adult with a signed declaration, which can be downloaded here.
Minors between 7 and 18 years old must have a ticket in order to enter the festival. They must be accompanied by an adult as well. Signed declaration is also mandatory.
ID cards must be presented at the security check on the main entrance!
Selling alcohol to minors is strictly prohibited!!!
LOUD FESTIVAL 2012 takes place at the Sofia Airport Park, at less than 200 m from Terminal 2 of Sofia Airport and close to Terminal 1. The location of the festival makes it very accessible for fans who will come by plane. Flight schedules and all necessary info regarding your travel is available at http://www.sofia-airport.bg/
Any glass on the festival site and on the camping grounds is strictly prohibited. Flacons and small bottles (perfumes, medical products) are allowed up to a volume of 50ml.
The following items are prohibited on the festival site: pocket knives, video cameras, audio recorders and any pyrotechnical gear, lasers, laser flashlights!
Regular analog or digital compact cameras and mobile phones with integrated cameras are allowed during the festival. Professional and semi professional cameras with interchangeable lenses, video cameras and any audio recording equipment is strictly prohibited on LOUD FESTIVAL 2012 without a PRESS/PHOTO pass!
LOUD FESTVAL 2012 will have a large camping zone inside the festival area, near to the stage. The camping ticket costs 5 BGN / 2,5 EUR and could be purchased at Eventim’s points of sales.
The festival doors will open on June 1st (Friday), as well as the Camping Area. There will be showers and toilets available.
ATTENTION!!! When you arrive at the camping you will receive a large trash bag. We kindly ask you to keep the camp site clean. For every full trash bag returned, you will receive a free drink/foor token.
Glass containers and bottles are strictly prohibited!
Camping outside the festival area is forbidden. The festival surroundings are patrolled by Border Police who will deal with unauthorized camping.
LOUD FESTIVAL 2012 offers to the festival goers a free parking lot close to the Sofia Airport Park. For more info, see the map on the left.
The parking has a limited capacity of 400 vehicles and is reserved exclusively for cars.
Level -4 of the Sofia Airport Parking Lot at Terminal 2 is also for exclusive usage of the festivalgoers but Airport Parking fees apply.
The camping area and Party Zone on LOUD FESTIVAL 2012 will open to general public on June 1st (Friday). The exact opening time will be announced before the festival.
When entering the festival area you will go through several security checks (ticket check, wrist band exchange, baggage check etc.). Make sure you only carry the permitted items as well as the permitted kinds of cameras.
Full opening hours schedule will be announced before the festival!
At the festival entrance, your two day ticket will be exchanged for a festival bracelet. After the exchange, the bracelet will be your only pass in and out of LOUD FESTIVAL. The bracelet should not be removed during the whole durations of the festival.
Open fire is strictly prohibited on the entire camping and festival site.
There will be a large first aid center in the festival area.
Handing out flyers/posters, promo CDs, free merchandise samples, etc. is prohibited on the entire festival site.
LOUD FESTIVAL 2012 will have several bars, serving beer, various alcohol, non alcohol and energy drinks and cocktails.
There will be also a Food Court inside the festival area with large variety of foods and drinks, barbecue, salads, soups, fish, and pastry. Sandwiches, hot dogs, pizza and other fast food will also be available.
A lot of garbage accumulates during a Festival and its gathering takes much time and meny people. Attention: Now at the LOUD FESTIVAL 2012 you could get an empty bag for garbage and if you return it full of trash you will get a voucher for a free drink!
We will have an official information point inside the festival area. If any changes should occur during the festival, we will announce them there immediately. Also, should you have any problems, questions and so on, you can approach our staff there for them to help you.
In case you find lost property, please bring it to the info point! If you have lost something please get in touch with our staff at the info point, too. Any item not being picked up by the end of the festival will be transferred to the Loud Concerts’ office.
Festival merchandise and merchandise of the performing artists will be available at a huge merch booth located on the festival site. This is the METAL MARKET!
There will be a huge attractions site (PARTY ZONE) in the festival area and it will offer exciting additional program for the festival goers. Situated just after the entrance on the left side, the Party Zone will offer bungee jumps, foosball/babyfoot, karaoke, bars and other entertaining activities and contests.
Dogs and any other pets or animals are not permitted on the entire festival and campgrounds.
Bus № 84 will be free of charge after the concerts at Loud Festival 2012!
To make the festival experience for the fans even more pleasant, we are offering free bus rides after the shows on both days of Loud Festival 2012.
Bus line № 84, which connecti Terminal 2 of the Sofia Airport (where the festival takes place) and downtown Sofia, will leave every 30 minutes after the end of each festival day until 4:00 am.
The running order with all the bands' exact stage times will be available on the official LOUD FESTIVAL website in the LINE UP section.
There will be shower stations on the camping site.
Almost all bands will be holding signing sessions. Please note the scheduled times and make sure you don’t miss your chance.
